Learn Danville real estate history.All who own Danville real estate are invited to come learn more about local history at the Museum of the San Ramon Valley. The museum is located in the Historic Danville Depot, which opened in 1891. The completion of the railroad through the town marked a momentous occasion for Danville area farmers and ranchers. Today, there are many permanent exhibits at the museum, as well as a variety of exhibits that rotate throughout the year. The permanent exhibits paint an interesting story of this region that Danville real estate owners call home. The story begins with the geology present here and ends with present times. Also be sure to check out the information on the California Indians, the Rancho period, the Gold Rush, early settlers, and the development of the modern towns and suburbs.

All who live in Danville also have the opportunity to view rotating exhibits that change every few months. The next up and coming exhibit is titled “Historic Icons of the Valley.” Come learn more from Saturday, January 23rd through Sunday, February 28th. The Museum of the San Ramon Valley is a great place to bring a class on a field trip, come to do some research, attend a special event, or do a little shopping.
