See art near Danville homes.Artists from Danville homes and rest of the Bay Area are able to exhibit their work at the Village Theatre Art Gallery. This community-focused center presents six or seven shows each year, featuring the work of local artists in many genres. The current exhibit just opened on Sunday, March 13th. It presents the paintings of Jennifer Koney and the photography of Oliver Klink in an show entitled 55: Images of Sea Level Rise. It will be up until April 23rd.

Kids from Danville Real Estate Create at the Gallery

There are several events planned around the exhibit, including one coming up on Thursday, March 17th. Kids from Danville homes, ages five to 11, are invited to come for a Young @ Art event on oceans and glaciers. Materials will be provided to create a 3-D glacier, ocean pop up, to paint a whale, and other projects. The event goes from 3:45 to 5 p.m. The cost is $15.

The gallery is open Wednesday through Friday from noon to 5 p.m. and Saturday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Private tours can be arranged by calling 925-314-3460.
